He has experience of more than 70 international clinical trials as a principal investigator.
The main scientific and practical interest - individualization of treatment of cancer patients based on indicators of biological markers of tumors aggressiveness. He gives great attention to the educational process, organization and conduct of clinical trials in oncology practice.

Active Member of the European Society of Oncology (ESMO), European Association of Hematologists (EHA), Ukrainian Association of Mammologists, Ukrainian Association of Onkourology, Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian League promotion of palliative and hospice care." Author of more than 160 publications on cancer, clinical psychology and pedagogy.
Gives great attention to optimization of the learning process, to the introduction of new teaching technologies, including role-playing games, computer technologies. Is active in clinical trials of drugs for the treatment of cancer.

Works in the Department since 1992. Professional activities includes tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, soft tissue, breast, reconstructive surgery and oncology, endovascular surgery and drug therapy of tumors.
Author of 5 books on cancer, more than 80 publications.
