Active member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), active member of the American Association of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Author of over 200 scientific publications, 2 monographs, 7 patents. He has supervised 2 Ph.D. dissertation in Oncology. He has experience of more than 70 international clinical trials as a principal investigator.

The main scientific and practical interest - individualization of treatment of cancer patients based on indicators of biological markers of tumors aggressiveness. He gives great attention to the educational process, organization and conduct of clinical trials in oncology practice.

ScD thesis: "Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute early postoperative obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract", year of completion - 1997.

Zavizion Viktor F. 

Associate Professor, PhD, oncologist of the highest category, oncosurgeon of the highest category.

Responsible for the educational process at the department.

Works in the Department since 1991. Active Member of the European Society of Oncology (ESMO), European Association of Hematologists (EHA), Ukrainian Association of Mammologists, Ukrainian Association of Onkourology, Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian League promotion of palliative and hospice care." Author of more than 160 publications on cancer, clinical psychology and pedagogy.

Gives great attention to optimization of the learning process, to the introduction of new teaching technologies, including role-playing games, computer technologies. Is active in clinical trials of drugs for the treatment of cancer.

PhD thesis: "Psychological rehabilitation of cancer patients at the stage of diagnosis and treatment", year of completion -1998.

 

Dmytrenko Kateryna O.

Associate Professor, PhD, oncologist of the first category.

Active Member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Association of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Author of over 40 publications.

PhD thesis: "Rationale for effective approaches to systemic treatment of patients with metastatic breast cancer", year of completion - 2011.



Prokhach Anna V

Ph.D., MD, MSo, Master of Medicine, doctor - oncologist. A member of The National Comprehensive Cancer Network NCCN, Active Member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Had observerships in different counrties, uncluding USA, Slovakia, visited international congresses due to grants programs (USA, Finland, Portugal, Singapore, Israel, United Kingdom).

Mohammad Hashem Elhajj

Assistant of the department, PhD, doctor-oncologist.

In 2010, he graduated from clinical residency in the field of clinical oncology. PhD thesis "The Role of Molecular Subtypes of the Tumor in the Formation of Personified Approaches to the Treatment of Metastatic Breast Cancer" .

Ph.D., assistant, doctor of the highest category of radiation diagnostics. Works at the department since 1987 Responsible for working with foreign students, masters and clinical residents of the cycle "Radiology". Kichtenko Igor Nikolaevich
